The best preparedness blogs out there
There should be a warning on every prepper and self reliance blog on the internet. The warning should read:
“Warning: May cause information overload and overactive awareness”
Once you enter into the emergency preparedness and self-sufficiency lifestyle, you will begin to notice there are vast amounts of information on the topic. Over the past five years, at least fifty new blogs about the subject have surfaced. In that same time, between thirty and sixty suppliers have popped up. So now, not only can you read about hundreds of different skills and projects, but you can price compare across suppliers.
After a while, it can become overwhelming. You may start to panic because you see all the variations of events you are not prepared to handle. Watching the news may begin to cause knee-jerk reactions and binge purchasing of duct tape and painters’ plastics You will begin to realize other people are clueless. The next thing you know, you are on your way to prepper burn out.
Once you find yourself in this position, the best thing you can do is stop and then start again.
These three things are not a quick six month plan. This should be over time. Stick with your plan. You may also choose to work with local community people for advice or better ways to organize your plan in a calm and informed manner.
