The best preparedness blogs out there
Terrorism is no longer an imaginary thing. It happens, anywhere anytime. And its our duty to keep our families safe.
If you disagree you need to wake the hell up and see reality. When terrorism occurs law enforcement, fire, and emts are the first to arrive and provide aid. They can not do their jobs until the terrorists have been stopped. Until those terrorists are stopped, they will continue to terrorize.
The true first responders are the guys protecting their girlfriends from the gunfire. The former combat medics that are holding pressure on the wounds of the guy they never met. The passengers that drove flight 93 into the ground. Or the off duty officer that shoots the terrorist before he kills everyone in the church. Those are the true first responders. You too can be one of those true first responders.
As a civillian most think that there is nothing you can do. That is not true at all. This is America were free, we can do anything we want to. With the proper knowledge you can do anything. Go take a concealed carry class, take an emt class, take an advanced concealed carry class, take a gun shot trauma class, or take a CERT class. Go get training and have the will to make a difference.
Always be prepared. That is not only the boy scout motto, but it should be your motto too. Once you have the training to make a difference why not have the gear you need to carry it out? If you carry the gear you need, you may be the next true first responder or you may save one of your family members lives.
In order to have the proper gear handy at all times you will have to sacrifice a little of your pride and convenience. This is where The Tactical Purse comes into play. It may not be the most popular thing, nor may it be the most fashionable, but it will provide you with essential gear. You should always have this essential gear with you and accessible.
You now have to make choices. You should choose to always keep your gear handy. This choice includes either not going places that prohibit your essential gear, or disregarding what they say and taking your gear with you. You have made the choice to be a true first responder and make a difference. Now follow through with your choice.
